Introduction to Yoga Nidra (Yoga Nidra 60 minutes)

Karen gained her Bikram Yoga teaching certificate in 2011. She was originally drawn to this challenging yoga practice due to the immediate relief for her chronic lower back pain. Karen's philosophy is, 'To know yoga, is to know peace…no yoga, no peace.'

FYI: Karen is also trained in the Bikram pregnancy series, Ashtanga and Vinyasa Flow yoga.

In this introduction to Yoga Nidra you will learn about 'yogic sleep' - the deep state of consciousness between waking and sleeping.  You will be guided through a relaxed practise followed by a calming guided meditation.  This introductory class will help you to achieve a deep sense of calm, restfulness and relaxation.
