Candlelit (Bikram + Yoga Nidra 90 minutes)

Karen gained her Bikram Yoga teaching certificate in 2011. She was originally drawn to this challenging yoga practice due to the immediate relief for her chronic lower back pain. Karen's philosophy is, 'To know yoga, is to know peace…no yoga, no peace.'
FYI: Karen is also trained in the Bikram pregnancy series, Ashtanga and Vinyasa Flow yoga.

A great way to end your week, we offer a combination of Bikram Yoga with Yoga Nidra in this 90 minute class that is candlelit.(Except in the summer). At the end of your Bikram practise you will be guided through a Yoga Nidra meditation to create a state of consciousness called samadhi. Yoga Nidra means 'yogic sleep' and this portion of the class will lull you into a level of consciousness between waking and sleeping to achieve a sense of calm and complete relaxation. Yoga Nidra is practised laying down in savasana at the end of the candlelit class.
