Yin Yang Yoga blends two styles of yoga into one practice - bringing together the benefits of passively and slowly holding yoga poses (Yin) with more dynamic and faster standing sequences and postures (Yang).
 
The Yin part of the class is the balancing practice for your yang style of yoga; it is yoga for the joints not the muscles. Yin asanas are seated postures, which are held for up to five minutes, applying constant gentle pressure to the ligaments while softening and releasing tension in the muscles.

The Yang part of the class explores the more active style of practice, which resemble Ashtanga and Vinyasa flow yoga. It targets the muscles that we engage to hold the bones closer together protecting the joints.

This style of yoga is perfect for a home practise.
